As part of Introduction to Web Development, I designed a page my students could visit to learn about best practices while engaging in research projects. The webpage guides students through the steps of researching from choosing a topic to citing their sources. |
Acceptable Use of Technology Policy
Each year, I facilitate a discussion concerning our school's Acceptable Use of Technology Policy for student understanding and input. While most points are set in stone, the document is discussed each year so students have the opportunity to tweak it. This gives students more ownership over the policy and has proven to help them take the agreement more seriously. |
